The team were commissioned by the National Trust to build a new display table for the library at Tyntesfield, North Somerset.
Tyntesfield has one of the largest book collections in the National Trust, the library itself holding about 3000 volumes, enthusiastically collected by the Gibbs Family over the course of the 19th century.
The table was constructed from English Oak as per the existing bookcases and was sensitively designed to be cohesive with existing furniture within the library, whilst acknowledging its modernity. A Perspex case enables choice books from the collection to be displayed under protection.
