Hugh Harrison Conservation were commissioned to undertake cleaning and repairs to the organ case and pulpitum screen, and associated passage floor, ceiling, and stairs. The work was undertaken in readiness for the installation of a new organ in April 2016.

The pulpitum, which dates from c.1538, required repairs to carry the new organ. The organ screen, the east and west faces of which are 17th century, the north and south faces are c.1850, underwent conservation cleaning but required little intervention.

An in-depth survey of the construction of the choir stalls was undertaken and some minor repairs were undertaken.

Kings College Chapel is an outstanding and world-renowned building of enormous beauty, and it was a privilege to work in such a setting.
