The church has a rich collection of woodwork, with 17th century panelling on the walls and the complete refurnishing of the chapel in 1878 which incorporates a whole collection of important Flemish/Dutch low reliefs and figures said to have come from Scarisbrick Hall in Lancashire. It is thought the figures were carved in walnut which had become heavily infested with common furniture beetle. This had weakened the timber to the extent it was near collapse. The timber was consolidated with a reversible consolidant, lightly cleaned and re-finished.
